Settling in to the new place

I've been living in the new place for almost 2 months now, and it's beginning to look and feel like home. Most of the boxes are unpacked and things are pretty much organized. I'm working on getting all of the artwork up now - most of the bigger pieces are up, it's the tons of small ones that I've left for last.

There are always a lot of bicyclists around, and this past weekend I finally understood why - a lot of things (grocery store, etc.) are far enough way that walking can be a drag, but biking there is quick and easy. After runnning errands on bike, things seem a lot closer!

And there are some great places to eat. The Small Bar, of course, but also Johnny's Grill and Tropi Cuba, and so many more that I still have to try. Yum. And that's not even including the Polish places over on Milwaukee... good thing the bike is convenient, I'm going to need the exercise!
