High Trek Mis-Adventure
Team Crusty has not had a great experience with High Trek Adventure. First, the day of the event did not go as well as we had hoped (see Woe is Team Crusty). Fine, fine, we could live with that.
But, to add insult to injury, we have not received our t-shirts yet. TWO MONTHS after the event. Yeah, they're just shirts, but we paid $80 for this event and that included shirts.
I've had a number of e-mail exchanges with Jason Hofsess, the organizer of High Trek Adventures, and he always makes some excuse about why we haven't gotten them and promises they are on the way. Obviously they're not on the way.
Just a bummer of an ending to the story.
Next year, Team Crusty is going with an event that is better organized and doesn't rip off participants.

Wow! We're fianlly getting them and supposedly they are shortening the course, eh? Good idea. How about having the course on actual bus and train routes and having clues you can figure out with the internet. Just a thought!
Update: I received an email on November 8th that the shirts were in and would be on their way to us. Huh. It's the 19th and still no sign of a shirt....
