Costa Rica bound!

Less than 24 hours before I head to Costa Rica... I'm so excited!!! For one thing, I really need a vacation right about now! (Thank you, Charlotte, for having your birthday this week!) And for another, I have never been to Central America, so this will be incredibly cool. Of course we are on a chi chi resort, so I don't know how much I will actually see, but maybe I'll get enough of a glimpse to want to go back.

I promise to take lots of pictures while there and share them when I get back!

Open Letter to a Selfish Jerk

Dear Selfish Jerk (you know who you are):

Here are some tips for being less of a selfish jerk in the future when ending a relationship:

• Do not call at 1:30 a.m. and wake the other person up
• Do call during the day
• Do not leave a message for the other person to call you back
• When the other person does call you back, do not ask them to call back AGAIN so you can use the restroom
• Do call on your own dime
• Do not fall asleep in the middle of the conversation

If you have to be drunk to have the cajones to end it, that doesn't say much about you. Be a man and at least respect the other person.
